Artist’s Statement: Life is a journey which each of us has chosen individually. Every twist and turn and detour has its purpose but is connected to the previous stage in life. Life is also a series of natural and spontaneous changes; it unfolds as a dynamic process. I am interested crossing disciplinary boundaries in my concept of environmental stimulation with fiber and sculpture.

As an academically trained artist in many disciplines, I have expressed myself in my works mostly in paintings and sculptures but also in fiber arts. About 2 years ago I challenged myself to concentrate only on one medium (discipline), the fiber arts, which has an enormous spectrum of possibilities. I am now ready to show my results of this period of time, although I could expand my journey for some time longer. As you know, an artist is never done with his/her works, it is always a stage of time you have to stop and sign. At that moment I usually have mentally exhausted this work but could continue this communication of this matter in a different discipline.
