The 8 Tracks

The 8 Tracks

Rewind the music and the sounds of the 60′s, 70′s and 80′s

The 8 Tracks lineup consists of singer/rhythm guitarist Anthony Buono, bassist Mike DeLaFleur, lead guitarist/sound geek Ted Seely and drummer Doug Briggs. Many of you know these guys as Glass Onion, but instead of the songs of the Fab Four, they’ll be playing songs mostly from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. After years of Glass Onion gigs where people asked if they played other material, they relented and put together another “band” in 2007.  In a short time they have developed at 240+ song play list that runs the gamut from 60s pop and psychedelia to 70s rock, funk and disco, to 80s and later alternative, rock and pop.  Like the other band, they are about faithfulness to the original material while letting their individual styles and sound shine through. They prove to be a rock powerhouse or the funkiest dance band around, and delight the audience every time!

Fiery Run

Fiery Run is a local duet featuring Heidi Budwash & Mark Clay. They are based out of Rappahannock and Warren Counties in Virginia. Sharing a love for songwriting and a mutual gift of harmony has made the pairing of these two artists seamless. Mark has been performing and writing music for the majority of his life. He collaborates with several other groups aside from Fiery Run, but has concentrated a lot of his focus on writing and producing an album alongside Heidi. The Rhonda Sager Trio

Classic Country to Classic Pop – Sounds for then Summer

The Rhonda Sager Trio

The Rhonda Sager Trio has been wowing audiences and warming hearts throughout the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia since May, 2007.

Rhonda Sager and Doug Arthur had worked together for a number of years before Doug discovered that Rhonda could sing. Rhonda sang in choirs and plays in high school, and in church for years but had never really pursued singing out in public because she was busy raising three daughters (Renee, Randi and Rachel) with her husband, Ronald.  Doug had taught himself to play guitar by ear when he was just a young boy growing up in Strasburg and had continued to play, mostly bluegrass, here and there as he gained his law degree and established his practice in Strasburg.

Once Doug discovered that Rhonda had such a beautiful, powerful, and versatile voice, the two teamed up to entertain.  Their first performance together was for Strasburg’s annual Mayfest celebration in May, 2006.

The duo quickly rose in popularity and became a trio by the Spring of 2007 when Hank Zimmerman joined Arthur and Sager on keyboard.  Their styles simply fit comfortably together, and soon the trio was performing at venues throughout the Shenandoah Valley; including becoming “house band” for The Old Mill restaurant and a regular at The Civil Cricket, Woodstock  Café, Mimslyn Inn, The Horseshoe Curve, Mayfest, Oktoberfest, Apple Blossom  Festival, and appearances on WINC, The River, and WSVG.

Rob Yeakle took over for Zimmerman in early 2009 just after the original three made their first CD together titled “Twelve by Rhonda”, filled with a combination of Arthur’s original numbers as well as some of the Trio’s favorites.

The Rhonda Sager Trio is one of the most versatile groups you’ll find here in the Valley…performing everything from Great American Songbook, Pop, Blues and more.

That style is a soft, laid-back stroll down memory lane… if you want to talk with your dinner partner at a Rhonda Sager Trio performance, you won’t have to shout.
