Join us Friday, June 30, at Gazebo Gatherings as we welcome The Billy Clements Band to our Gazebo stage with true classic country music, with a little sparkle and shine! Enjoy the vintage sounds of Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams Sr., Elvis, and of course, Patsy Cline.  Vintage outfits complete with sequins and rhinestones are a mainstay for the band.

Gazebo Gatherings – June 23 – The Moonlighters

Since 1990, The Moonlighters have been regional favorites. Critically-acclaimed, they have performed an unprecedented seven times at The Kennedy Center, among other prestigious venues.  Averaging over 200 appearances per year, they offer concert goers strong, soulful vocals and solid instrumentation. Famous for getting people in the dance groove and more importantly, for keeping them there, The Moonlighters have a performance custom-tailored to best suit each audience and occasion. With HUNDREDS of songs in a wide variety of styles, The Moonlighters are musicians truly committed to making each and every show an event to remember.

Gazebo Gatherings – June 16 – American Legion Community Band

* Our concert tonight (June 16) with the American Legion Community Band has been moved indoors due to the continuing rain in the weather forecast. The concert will be held in the RMA band room at 7pm (enter on Academy Drive and follow around). *

The American Legion Community Band, located in Front Royal, Va, was formed in 1986 and has been playing concerts in the area ever since. The conductors and band members are all volunteer musicians from the local area and new members are always welcome.

The band performs at a variety of concerts and community festivals throughout the year. All performances are free and open to the public. Their repertoire is both versatile and traditional with works ranging from classical to popular, marches and operatic overtures to modern works for band. The band is sponsored by the Giles B. Cook Post #53 of the American Legion.

The conductors are Ed Richards, Ronald Dye and Mark Malechek. All rehearsals are held on Tuesdays from 7:30 – 9:00 pm in the Fulton Fine Arts Complex bandroom at Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, Va. Anyone who plays an instrument and would like to join is welcome to attend. The American Legion Community Band’s performance season extends from September through July each year with public performances both indoors and out.alcbjune2017

Gazebo Gatherings – August 19 – Vinyl Tracks

We love traditions, like over a quarter of a century bringing live entertainment at our Gazebo Gatherings concert series to residents and visitors alike, and having our friends at Vinyl Tracks close out the season with their fabulous All Beatles Tribute Show!  Vinyl Tracks is a classic rock band based in Front Royal, VA. They dish out an eclectic mix of 60s, 70s and 80s music, and a terrific All Beatles Tribute Show! Vinyl Tracks has played hundreds of gigs at taverns, festivals and private events in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Always a treat, the group consists of singer/rhythm guitarist Mark Clay, bassist Mike DeLaFleur, lead guitarist Ted Seely and drummer Doug Briggs. Shake it up baby!

The heat index at 7pm is forecast to be 99 degrees with 70% humidity. We have rescheduled The Moonlighters for Friday, September 30 at 7:00 pm. Gazebo Gatherings – August 5, 2016 – Slow Creek

Join us Friday night, August 5 at 7pm for the return of Slow Creek to our Gazebo Gatherings Stage! Slow Creek covers an eclectic mix of folk, country, jazz, soft rock, instrumentals and originals. Heartfelt vocals combined with stellar guitar licks and backed by solid bass lines are featured by this acoustic trio from Front Royal in the Northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Band members include Sandra Lyerly, Jeremy Rodgers and Joe Martin. The band has played venues throughout the Northern Virginia area since January 2014. 
                                                                                                                     
                                                                                                                                             
Sandra Lyerlyslow creek 2
She is a singer-songwriter folk guitarist originally from Southwest Virginia. While attending grad school in that area, she fell in love with the bluegrass and folk community that is unique to that location. These roots have driven her songwriting.  In 2013 she recorded her first EP along with Mike Powell of Green Room Recording Guitar Studio.
Jeremy Rodgers
Versatile and creative, there is no one word to describe this bassist, singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. He plays for many professional groups in the Northern Virginia area such as Chelsea McBee and the Random Assortment , The Dreamscapes Project The BodyCounters, and other acts. To find out more about Jeremy’s current and past projects, including his recently released solo album “the Darkest Hour” visit his website.
Joe Martin
Originally from New York, Joe has been involved in many musical ventures since an early age. He plays lead guitar, drums and piano. In 1999 he recorded his own album Algorythm without electronic assistance or sampling, playing all the parts himself.
